Rock climbing unlike other sports is not one where you can dress up and say you are an expert in the field because you may look like one. Before one can climb a rock there are a series of exercises that must be mastered to create the kind of strength needed to climb successfully. All of your muscles should be ready to act at any given time. There are times you will have to maneuver holds that are barely large enough to hold three of your fingers. Your core has to be strong enough to include footholds and body positioning. You need balance both physically and mentally. This is why rock climbing training is important.
