What is a DVD?

You might ask yourself what a DVD is exactly. That’s a completely normal question, and don’t feel odd about asking it. In fact, for something so common in all of our homes and day to day lives, it’s surprising just how few people actually know what the DVD is anyways.

A DVD is really nothing more than an optic data storage disc for video, audio, and computer data. It really just boils down to being a better, bigger, faster CD that can hold a lot more information, including the movies and video’s that they are famous for.
