my boy was 13 weeks early and weighted 2pounds and is now 20 months and weights 22 pounds and is running around the place. after a few little hiccups along the road he has finally caught up with his peers and is a perfectly healthy happy child:)

My daughter was 16 weeks early and weighed 1 1/2 lbs. She now weighs 120 lbs and is going to university next year to get her degree in biochemistry.She’s 17.

My daughter was 6 weeks early. She’s now 1 year old (if she had come on her due date, I guess it would be about 5 weeks until her 1st birthday) <—— born Dec 30, 08.

She was 5 lbs at birth, now 18 lbs and 27 inches.

She’s still pretty small… But I’m also pretty small, so I don’t expect her to ever be a big girl. She learned to walk a bit before her 1st birthday, she’s been saying quite a few words (but she is a mumbler) and is really good with solids.

She sounds like she’s starting to get a cold now, though… Do all babies get sick this much?

Wow, your baby seems to be doing well for how early she was! My daughter was born seven weeks early and was four pounds at birth. She is now nine months and doing great. She has pretty much caught up developmentally. She started crawling last month and she’s now even taking steps while holding our hands. Which I’m pretty proud of since many babies who aren’t preemie can’t even do that at nine months! I’m not sure how much she weighs now since she hasn’t been to the doctor in quite some time but I’m guessing she’s about fifteen to seventeen pounds. She’s amazed us by how quickly she caught up.

my lil man was 6 weeks early but small due to 5 weeks of labor his first birthday is in 15 days his tall for his age skiny and cheeky as anything

my little boy was 5 weeks prem hes almost 2 now and has developed into a normal very active and cheeky little boy lol is so worrying to begin with but they develop at there own pace enjoy her while shes little because before uknoww it she will be running around u and causing havocc and if she anything like my little 1 chatting away andbackk answering lol gl to u

My boys were only 4 wks early but they are 5 and 7 years old now and doing great. My cousins little boys were 8 wks early and they are growing like weeds and doing great too so great to see premies do so good after all they have to fight for just to stay alive.
