He has respiratory distress, and didn't have his sucking reflex down. Developmentally he has met most of his milestones, but is about a month behind on some of them. For example... he is now 4 months and a little behind on hand/eye coordination. He sometimes reaches for objects, but doesn't grasp them, and other babies do that around 2-3 months. Each baby developes at different rates anyways, so its hard to measure with preemies. Typically however many weeks and/or months the baby was premature is how far behind they should be. A baby born 2 months premature typically would reach their milestones 2 months later.
