Are there any support groups for single mothers with premature babies?

I’m in the Las Vegas area and my girlfriend feels that there’s nowhere she can go to get help. Any ideas?

Have her join http://www.cafemom.com. There are TONS of groups on there and probably 20 or so that are just about mom’s of premies. Infact, I’ll check and see just how many….There are 67 groups for moms with premies. I’m sure quite a few of those mothers are single. Have her join!

tell her to check craigslist.com for your specific area…they have a section titled groups for people to check out! Good luck

Two thoughts–www.preemie.org or go to Yahoo groups (fourth link on the left from the main yahoo page) and run a search. A lot of preemie groups pop up, so you have to wade through them.
