im 28 weeks pregnant and scared i will have another premature birth will i have another premature baby ?

hi im 28 weeks pregnant and im worried i will have another premature birth as my first chil she was born at 30 weeks ! but that was because i had an infection witch made it worse and as im 28 weeks im gettin worried but i have no signs of infection so far and i want to no if i could have another premature babyplz help need some advise x

Breath hunny. My fist was born 30weeks. she was 3lbs even. My 2nd baby 37 weeks. Try and relax b/c extra stress isn’t good or you or baby. There is no way to know if you will have another preemie but you survived the frist and you will do what needs to be done regardless. Take car of you and baby.

  1. just be very careful of what you do and eat. talk to your doctor about that because only they know if you have a high chance of preterm labor.

  2. It’s possible that you could because you already had one, but don’t stress over it too much. Every pregnancy is different and the fact that you had an infection last time could have been a huge factor. Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Good luck

  3. As of right now I would definitely not worry or stress about it, I know it very hard not too, but the worrying and stress can cause an early delivery…Also depending on what type of infection you had, if it’s something that can happen again then I would be concerned…Good luck!!

  5. Well, there’s really know way of knowing, honey. Some women are prone to preemies, some aren’t. Just take it easy & won’t dwell on it, see your doctor once a week. They should be able to tell you what the baby is gonna weigh in an ultrasound.

  6. I gave birth to my second at 34 weeks and was a nervous wreck that I would have this baby even earlier. I’m now 38 weeks and waiting. I can’t believe I made it to term, now I’m counting down the days and can’t wait to meet my little man. GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS
