why is premature birth, natural suffering?
We are currently studying natural and moral evil and suffering and have been asked to choose 1 choice and i have chosed natural suffering. I am going to do premature birth as i think it is a natural suffering matter. but i have write a bit so far but still need a bit more. can you please, please give any ideas, thoughts thanks

I lost my baby when i ws 20 weeks pregnant i had to give birth to her and me and my partner are suffering very badly. We miss our daughter so much, when she died i died too. It is natural suffering to both baby and parents. Baby because these things happen no one knows why, my baby had a reason to be born early because she was very ill inside me. Why don’t you use that as an idea? Babies with illnesses in the womb? Which can cause so many painful complications and even death.

well i dont think its suffering there trying to help the baby so it can live on this world… saving your baby is a miracle

My nephew was born 5 weeks early. He is 6 now but since breath to now he has had eye trouble ( Has to wear glasses the rest of his life) When he was born they had to give him CPR 3 times. Also he had a some hole in his heart. Other then that he is normal!

You could write about how the parents, especially the mother, suffer after a premature birth. As well as the worry and fear about the baby’s health, many mothers feel guilt and shame, as they feel that they may have done something wrong during the pregnancy, or that they are being punished for something they have done. You could also write about how the baby suffers, especially during the numerous medical tests that are performed on premature babies, and that because they have been born too early, they sometimes cannot breathe or feed naturally so have to endure medically invasive procedures. You could say that whilst babies will have no memory of the suffering that they endured whilst on a premature baby unit, the parents will never forget the angst that they suffered at the time.
