Ounces per feeding is irrelevant. The critical measurement is ouncers per day.

I seem to recall that the expected amount of formula a baby should be taking per day is equal in ounces to her weight in pounds times 3.

So if your daughter weights about 8 pounds, she should be drinking about 24oz of formula per day.

As much as she wants as often as she wants. There is no set amount that a baby should eat. Every baby is different and some eat more then others. Let the baby eat until she’s full and feed her as often as she needs to eat.

My daughter ate 3-4 ounces every 2-3 hours for awhile and then started eating more per feeding but gradually spacing out to 4 hour intervals. it just depends on the baby. Feeding on demand is best though, it makes sure she’s getting enough, often enough.

I would want to say at least 4 ounces, but that is something you should really ask the doctor
