I used to work in …
I used to work in Neonatal Cardiac Critical Care, giving EKG’s to infants born with heart abnormalities.
I always thought of them as just as adorable as any infant born without health issues.
No one could understand why I could give EKG’s to babies–until I told them I was a Paramedic before working in Neonatal Cardiac Care.
I refuse to believe that an infant born with health issues is any less of a joy to its parents than a healthy baby.
