He may be short but he may grow and be as tall as his dad you never know. The 7th percentile is just that your baby is taller than 7% of babies his age. Most preemies do catch up growth within the first two years, though. It doesn't necessarily mean anything at this point, especially when he starts going through growth spurts. I just took my son in for his 18 month appointment and he shot up into the 95th percentile for growth(he's 35 inches now).<br><b>References : </b><br> It very well could do with his prematurity.
