My preemie twins are 3.5 months old (adjusted age 2 months) so no rolling yet, even though i'm keeping my eyes peeled. They're both smiling and cooing lots and have started showing lots more interest in their toys, touching and grabbing them while under their playgym.
References :
I know it's hard because of the preemie thing, but try not to put an age on him whether it's birth date or corrected age. All babies are different and that's why "normal" is a range rather than a set time. He's well within normal range and YAY! he rolled over! Enjoy the milestone and stop worrying.
References :
no, your little one is doing great. he'll be running circles around you before you know it. ryan was a tummy sleeper so he learned to turn from tummy to back by early 3 months. ryan will be 5 months this Thursday and just leaned how to turn from back to tummy and has a real baby laugh now! way too cute, but with this also came his screams of delight or frustration, which is sometimes cute and funny but not at night when i live in an apartment with people all around us! congrats on his milestone!
References :
My son is 4mths old and he can sit up with support, he screeches and makes lotsa noise all the time(dont know if thats really a milestone, but he sounds like a 6mth old.lol), he can raise himself up with straightened arms while on his tummy, he can roll over from his back to his side and almost makes it onto his belly, he has rolled from tummy to back like twice(sometimes his arm gets in the way and he gets mad when he cant roll over. lol), oh and when Im holding him in my lap and eating dinner, he reaches for my food and opens his mouth like he wants some! (:
References :
That's perfectly fine for him! :) I was a premature infant, and by school age, premature children do just as well as their peers. My mother was informed that during the first 2 years, developmental milestones may be a little off. I was always ahead of the other kids in school. ;)
